Westfield SEIW used by the previous owner as his toy in the South of France. He was a disabled gentleman who had it converted to hand controls by Northampton motorsport. He was the second owner. The car had been stored since 2018 and then put back into Northampton Motorsport in 2022 where a list of faults were drawn up. He then decided that he could no longer enjoy the car and it then went to the vendor who has systematically gone through the snags from NM. Removed the hand controls and returned it back to standard.
New parts have included aero screen, cam belt, thermostat housing, LED headlights, tonneau cover, new gauges and a new battery.
The car has a removable steering wheel which aids getting in and out and functioning seat runners to adjust the driving position. Easily fits up 6' 3" and being the wide body larger drivers can be accommodated. I'm 17 stone and 6'2 and it's no problem.
The car is fitted with a 2.0 Ford Zetec running on Weber carbs and a Dunnel engine management system through a 5 speed box and independent rear suspension.
She come with full build manuals and all invoices for parts over the years, including Dyno reports of between 134bhp and 144 bhp at the wheels.
When submitting for MOT the young tester didn't realise that Q plated cars are tested on 1971 emission standards and the hazard lights weren't fitted back then so the real failures were refitting 2 of the wheels as the directional rotation was wrong.
