Buyers premium is only 10% + VAT. A minimum of £250 + VAT is applied to amounts of £2,500 or less.
Yes, we do. Viewing takes place 2 weeks before the auction until the day of the auction itself. Please see each auction for details of viewing dates, then we would advise contacting us prior to viewing to ensure the vehicle is at the premises.
Our auctions are live online and in person sales, and are held on the second saturday of every month at 1pm. Viewing up to 2 weeks before the auction.
All SOLD vehicles are subjected to a HPI Equifax Vehicle Data Check. This service provides information on vehicles listed as Stolen or on the Outstanding Finance Register. Any vehicle discovered to have an undisclosed history in relation to any of these areas will be liable to rejection by the buyer and will result in the seller becoming liable for Buyers Premium, Sellers Commission and all reasonable expenses incurred by the buyer and Barons (Auctioneers) Ltd.
VAT is only applied to the buyer's premium, not the total sale price. For example, if a car sold for a hammer price of £10,000, the buyer's premium would be £1,000 with £200 VAT, giving a total of £11,200.

You can consign a vehicle via this website - just click here. Please note that you will first be asked to created an account. Once created, you will then be able to upload details and photos of the vehicle you'd like to enter.
We cannot over-stress the importance of early consignment of vehicles. Many people are disappointed when their entry is not accepted due to over subscription. Early consignment gives us the opportunity to promote an entry and gives your car the best possible exposure. Help us to help you sell your car, get it on this site as early as possible, where it may be viewed by 1,000's of prospective buyers, as well as being included in our targeted marketing emails, and on to our database.
We have 3 levels of entry for vehicles: Standard - £50 + VAT, Premium - £100 + VAT, and No Reserve - £0
All levels attract the same low commission rate of 5% + VAT.
We also offer Motorcycle entries at £50 + VAT.
Trade entries are treated as standard entry unless negotiated.

Professional photos of the vehicle will be taken by Barons once it has been delivered to us. However, you will be given the option to upload photos via this website when you enter your vehicle for auction. We've made the process of entering your vehicle into auction as simple as possible, including uploading photos.
Alternatively, if you'd like to enter your vehicle but don't yet have any photos, you can always email the photos to us (info@barons-auctions.com) after you've entered it.
Our preferred method of payment is via Bank Transfer.
We also accept Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards. Please be aware we do not accept business credit and debit cards.
Cash is acceptable, but only to the value of £5,000 per customer, per auction. Barons is not authorised by HMRC to accept cash payments above this amount.
All client funds are held in our "Secure Client Account" and paid to vendors 6 working days after the sale date.
Please Note: Barons do not accept personal or business cheques in payment for vehicles or in payment of deposits on vehicles. In the event that a buyer is unable to complete a purchase on the day of the sale, they will be required to pay a deposit of 10% of the total purchase price by way of Debit Card, Credit Card, Cash or Bank Transfer. Vehicles will not be released until full payment is received by Barons.
Barons Do Not operate an account system. All vehicles must be paid for on the day of sale or by noon on the following day. All funds must be cleared and showing in the Barons bank account before the vehicle will be released to the buyer.
