This beautiful car was built in June 1972 and sold to Mr Abercrombie of Kansas who kept her for the next 35 years . She was then sold to a restorer in Kentucky who resprayed her keeping her original colours. The 351 Cleveland Cobra Jet engine was totally rebuilt and bored 30 over and a new high performance C6 transmission installed. After two years the restoration was not complete and she was sold to Tim Cole a renowned Mustang restorer in Florida . Over the next year Tim did the remainder of the restoration himself except the exhaust which was done by a specialist company. She was then inspected by Mr John C. Hackett , a registered judge of the Mustang Owners Club of America. His inspection confirmed that she had all her original sheet metal , with original factory stampings and most importantly, factory original welds and pinch welds along the lower rockers.  He also said that there was no sign of any prior body damage and that the unrestored under carriage was one of the best he had seen in a very long time with original floor pans and inner panels  with no sign of repairs or corrosion of any kind and that there was no indication of twisting or torque abuse with no aftermarket undercoating. On completion Tim Coles sold her to a collector of American classics in England where she remained until 2017 when the current vendor purchased.

One of the first trips in her was to Roy Holmes Mustang garage at Hook.  Roy gave her a thorough inspection and concluded that it was a very good example. The car has a Q code engine with full Ram Air and has been converted to Evans Waterless coolant. With the car is a very large history file and the Marti report. The car was recently taken for MOT May 2023 ( she is exempt ) just as a health check and passed with no advisories. Sadly the Vendor does not get the time nowadays to take her out as much as she deserves. The car has never been out in the rain in both my and the previous owners time.  She is not for the faint hearted driver and turns heads wherever she goes with her looks and roar .
