This 1961 Jaguar MK2 is the desirable 3.8 Litre Manual overdrive version imported from South Africa with all duties paid and UK registered. The car appears to be a very sound example with no apparent corrosion and good paintwork other than a few blemishes as shown in the pictures. The engine appears to run well, the gearbox is good, and the overdrive is working.  The interior is very good all round and the leather (not vinyl) seats, door cards, and centre console, have been recovered to a high standard. The carpets look virtually new, all the chrome is very good and the wire wheels are in good condition. The car has had the carburettors overhauled with new carburettor kits fitted, and had an oil and filter change completed. The car runs well and a new clutch master and slave cylinder have been fitted. The brakes have had an overhauled master cylinder and new servo fitted, the brake cylinders all appear to have been overhauled with stainless steel linings, new brake pads have been fitted front and rear, and the brake fluid has been changed. Some pictures of the outstanding underside have now been added to show how sound the car is. There is a Jaguar/Daimler Heritage Certificate that comes with the car. This car is in very good condition, it just needs someone to use it.
