Saab 99 GL 1982 offered for sale, with only 3 previous owners since new, the second and third being father and son owned from 1991 to 2024. Of those years, the Saab has been stored in a dry barn between 2014 to 2024 when it was found and bought by the current vendor. Being stored in a dry barn, this Saab is in fantastic condition with literally no rust to the metalwork. Since the vendor's ownership (August 2024), they have fully recommissioned the engine and drivetrain. They have replaced brake calipers, shoes, pads, brake lines, fuel hoses, clutch thrust bearing, rebuilt carb, and a lot more has been done (invoice attached). This fabulous Saab 99 GL is a four-speed manual with rare walnut brown metallic paintwork, which I would give an 8/10, and it also has contrasting brown velour seats which are in excellent condition, 8/10. The roof lining is sagging as all Saabs do, but is undamaged. The factory steel wheels, with steel hubcaps, are in good condition, 8/10, with the fifth spare wheel included. The vendor has had an aftermarket choke fitted as the original choke cable was broken and OEM is impossible to find. The previous owner was unable to find any paperwork/history, the vendor has receipts and invoices for the work that they have had carried out. All glass is undamaged; (no chips, no cracks) all electrics work as they should, no stereo or speakers fitted so unwanted holes. Both cills are solid, as are all the floors, bulkhead as new. Fuel tank removed and cleaned, new gaskets, exhaust is also good, and it has had a new manifold core plug also.
