MG only built 1839 Chrome Bumper MG B V8s, and this is one of them. A matching number car, originally supplied to Mr D Warwick, of Teddington south west London, the car seems to have spent most of its life on the relatively salt free roads of the south coast. The car has only had six owners, the last since 1991, and there is a DVLA record of them supplied with the car. There is a V5c Registration document, an Hpi certificate, and a valuation certificate from the MG Owners Club dated April 2022 valuing the car at £23,000!

The car is finished in Teal Blue, with an Autumn Leaf interior. The bodywork is in very good condition, with no visible corrosion on top or underneath the car. Past body restoration work includes; doors, front offside wing lower rear quarter, rear offside wing below bumper, and both sides  have been resprayed below window level when the doors were repaired. The paintwork is very good, and most of it seems original, though there are areas of the car that understandably show signs of age. The interior is in very good without any tears or rips, and the colours have stood up well to age. Mechanical work; All service work and repairs as required. Fuel tank and fuel pump recently replaced, Water pump recently replaced. Suspension work and stainless steel exhaust, the car seems to run well, with good oil pressure at idle and at higher engine speeds. A Quaife limited slip differential has been fitted and the car has a twin 12v battery upgrade.. The car cooling system is working well, as are the electrics. There is a wood rim steered wheel fitted, the centre console has three supplementary gauges, and some auxiliary switches. In the spare wheel area, there is a 12 volt battery, and a connection in case a jump start is needed, The car has been stored in a dry garage or in a Carcoon since purchase, and the it also comes with the original wheels, differential, exhaust and air filter parts.
