BMW 840CI 1997 in Silver with Black interior. 8 previous owners. Owned since 2013, the vendor describes the car as superb and states that he has spent tens of thousands of pounds on the car to bring it up to this very high standard. The underside has been prepared to a very high standard and the pictures will show this. This is a car that you will need to view to appreciate the high standard of finish but the history at the moment is being searched for but hopefully will be found soon. We have noticed that the headlining is sagging at the rear, the boot carpet is worn, the seat electrics need some looking at, and the ABS light is iluminated (it may go out on driving?). We do have an MoT print out which appears to verify the mileage. The Vendor has stated that the MOT station logged the incorrect miles and no speedo changes have been made.

*This BMW 840ci is now available on a submit best offer, there is a reserve, the vendor has just found out (on our HPI check) that it is marked as a write off 2008-2009, and although a VIC test was carried out in 2010, it was not mentioned at the time of purchase in 2013. The vendor has spent somewhere around £20,000-£25,000 on having the body/suspension/underbody and mechanicals restored, with the intention to keep the car for many years, however personal circumstances have forced sale.
