Lamborghini Espada series 3 1974 with right hand drive and only 34,239 miles.
After its former models, the series 1 and series 2, the Espada series 3 made its big debut in 1972, where it sported enhancements such as a restyled front grill and new tail lights, along with a top speed of 155mph. In 1978 the production of the Espada ceased production and reached only 500 examples of this model being made. It is truly a unique car and even more so rare in right hand drive, with only 121 models being made.
This vehicle has had 7 owners, with having continuous ownership from new, and has an extensive file of history. Within the history, invoices relating to the maintenance and restoration of the vehicle can be found along with previous MOTs, various handbooks and a number of receipts for work carried out, one of which was for £26,000 in 2015. Works include the refinishing of the paintwork, servicing and rebuilding the carburettors and a reconditioned clutch slave cylinder, and a top end rebuild including new valve guides a few years ago.
The vehicle is in good condition, with its vibrant red paintwork it is hardly one to go unnoticed. The interior is also in good condition, with black leather seats and a spacious trunk. Some upgrades have been carried out on the vehicle, such as new modern air conditioning and heater, a radiator core with revised radiator header tank/ positioning for improved cooling, modern radiator fans, stainless steel exhaust system, stainless steel brake pistons, a modern brake servo, and a modern CD/ iPod stereo system. As well as this, the front seats have been re-covered and were fitted with new seat belts, the handbrake has been modified, and the headlights upgraded. Central locking and an alarm system has also been installed.
