Mercedes C280 Sport automatic 1995, in tourmaline green 1 owner FSH low mileage For Sale.

The vehicle was purchased from new by the vendor's.  

The vehicles come with the original full spec plus the full service history. It has done less than 62,000 miles. The original registration was M980 MKD but the car is being sold with the private plate. The vehicle has cloth seats, and the drivers seat has electronic adjustment. The front seats have made to measure covers which have been in place since purchase and have never been removed. 

Mechanically the vehicle is sound but it has a number of minor issues:

1. The SRS light stays on for 5 minutes or so after the engine is started.

2. It has two keys with infra-red control.  One of them doesn't work and you can't use the key to unlock the car as the alarm goes off. There is no key-hole on the driver's door, only the passenger side and the boot.

3. The working key won't unlock the driver's door in cold weather, you have to open it from behind or on the passenger side.

4. There is a small oil leak reported every year for a few years on the MOT "but not excessive" and there is never any oil on the ground under the car.

5. The last MOT on 4 July 2023 reported some corrosion to coil springs, brake pipe and anti roll bar "but not excessive".

6. One of the front lower grills, below the bonnet is missing.

7. There are a few minor scratches, one small area on the rear offside passenger door which is starting to rust.

8. The car is fitted with an AM/FM radio with cassette player and a CD player with a 6xCD cartridge fitted in the boot. The speaker on the driver's side is faulty.

9. The aerial is bent so doesn't fully retract.
