Reliant Scimitar GTE 1978 offered for sale.

This vehicle was seldom used from 2010 as the owner worked in the USA. The vendor purchased it in mid 2023 as he required a winter project and it did not disappoint. Using much of the services of ORG (Kettering) the leading Scimitar centre in UK, the vendor has brought the vehicle to a reliable mechanical condition.

The vendor states it is now great fun to drive, attend shows etc. Brief summary of the work carried out:-

1/. Both outriggers replaced (ORG)

2/. Recon power steering rack fitted (ORG)

3/. New front springs and Shocks

4/.Front suspension poly-bushed

5/. Fibre camshaft gear replaced with Alloy type

6/. New (modified type) heater matrix installed.

7/. 4 new tyres fitted and Alignment set.

8/. Fresh MOT for assurance.

The car has no oil leaks or consumption. All gauges, electric windows etc work correctly (Except the radio). As an ex Ford Service Manager the vendor has enjoyed this mechanical restoration project and spent well over the reserve price (All receipts supplies) restoring it mechanically to good working order. (under chassis inspection is welcome) Motorway cruising is a pleasure with the o/drive top gearing.

Photos of all work available.
