Jaguar XJS 4.0 Celebration 1996 offered for sale.

This lovely XJS was purchased from Arun Jaguar in February 2010, it had 4 previous owners and was serviced and main dealer stamped up to 2009 after which the vendor had it serviced and mot'd regularly at a local reputable independent garage.

This celebration XJS is a very usable example. The interior is excellent apart from the headlining which has been corrected using upholstery screws as recommended in a Jaguar Enthusiast article. The body work has a minor rust spot on the roof and bonnet which the vendor repaired. The offside sill had some rust ingress which the vendor removed, but the car was wax oyled when the vendor purchased it in 2010. The vendor states the car drives extremely well and starts without fail and the engine runs well. The air conditioning requires attention. The car has always been garaged and dry stored and has only been used in summer months. This XJS would be a fabulous daily driver and the colour makes it very pretty and a real head turner. It recently had a new alternator fitted. There are some advisories on the most recent MOT, being suspension arm pin/bush worn and both trailing rear arm front bushes are worn. There is age related surface corrosion to suspension components.
